Field Operations Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:
iSTORMWATER focuses on Stormwater Management Maintenance practices in public and private sectors across the Mid-Atlantic. Our clients span multiple industries, including but not limited to, Energy, Commercial Real Estate, as well as Local & State Governments.

We’re looking for a Field Operations Manager with similar values and beliefs who can translate his or her expertise and skills to our Stormwater Management initiatives. Experience with either construction, engineering, or environmental services will make you an excellent fit for our team. You will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects at once and communicating directly with our leadership team. This position has tremendous growth potential in a successful, expanding company.

Field Operations Manager Responsibilities:

  • Manage job sites for both public and private projects
  • Create and manage work schedules for crew and ensure all projects are fully staffed
  • Hire full-time and temporary laborers to contribute to each project
  • Create and manage the budgets for each project, including supplies, materials and labor
  • Order and schedule the delivery of all equipment needed for projects
  • Oversee subcontractors and vendors to ensure quality standards are met
  • Ensure safety guidelines are followed on all job sites
  • Maintain constant communication with clients throughout job process
  • Ensure projects stay on track for completion deadlines
  • Pursue continuing education in stormwater management practices

Field Operations Manager Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.

  • 2+ years’ experience in a supervisory capacity.

  • Proven experience supervising field operations.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once with no decline in quality control.

Field Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION:
iSTORMWATER focuses on Stormwater Management Maintenance practices in public and private sectors across the Mid-Atlantic.

We’re looking for a Stormwater Field Technician with military background who can translate his or her expertise and skills to our Stormwater Management initiatives on military bases. This position has tremendous growth potential in a successful, expanding company.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide routine cleanup, maintenance and light repairs of stormwater infrastructure including retention ponds, drainage ditches, stormwater grates, etc.
  • Perform mowing, weed-trimming, debris removal, ground maintenance and cleanup, light construction, and maintenance repairs for properties as directed.
  • Operate landscaping and light construction equipment such as skid steers, back hoes, commercial mowers, and mechanically inclined loaders.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with landscaping and light construction equipment such as skid steers, back hoes, commercial mowers and mechanically inclined loaders.
  • Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) for F-550 or similar with trailer.
  • Dedication to safe work practices in accordance with OSHA regulations.
